What this policy covers

This policy covers comparepeptide.org, published by Compare Peptide, an independent comparison publication.

It explains what is measured when you read the site, what is deliberately switched off, and how to opt out.

What is measured

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read.

Measurement starts when you arrive, and analytics storage is granted by default, which is the standard posture for visitors in the United States.

Advertising storage stays off. Advertising identifiers, ad personalization, and ad user data are denied by default and are not switched on later in the visit.

No advertising or remarketing audience is built from your reading, because the storage that would make one possible is never granted.

Global Privacy Control

The Global Privacy Control signal is honored. If your browser or an extension sends GPC, it is treated as a valid opt-out request and nothing further is needed from you.

The signal is respected on every page, on every visit, for as long as your browser keeps sending it.

Your standing opt-out

The opt-out control on this page turns analytics measurement off. It is a standing choice, not a one-visit dismissal, and it stays in force until you change it.

The choice is stored in your browser, so it applies to that browser on that device. Clearing site data clears it, and you can set it again here.

Browser-level tracking protections and analytics blockers also work, and the site does nothing to route around them.

What happens when you click through to a provider

Every provider link is a redirect through this site at /go/. For a paid partner, that redirect carries this site's publisher id and the page context that produced the click, so the affiliate network can attribute it.

For a provider that is not a paid partner, the redirect carries no tracking and lands on the provider's own site.

No name, email, or account detail is attached to a redirect, because the site does not have any of those.

Once you land on a provider's site, that company's privacy policy governs. What it collects there, and what it does with it, is outside our control.

What is not collected

No accounts, no logins, no newsletter list, and no payment details. The site sells nothing and processes no orders.

No health information is requested anywhere on the site, and none should be sent to us. If you email, leave your medical history out of it.

Cookies and similar storage

Two kinds of storage are used: the cookies Google Analytics 4 sets to count a visit, and the local storage that remembers your opt-out choice.

No advertising cookies are set, and no third-party advertising tags run on the site.

Children

The site is written for adults, is not directed to children, and does not knowingly collect information from them.

How long analytics data is kept

Analytics data expires under the retention setting configured on the Google Analytics property, after which the platform deletes it automatically.

Nothing you send by email is added to analytics, and a message is kept only as long as it takes to answer it and to keep a record of the answer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of sale or sharing.

The do-not-sell page explains the opt-out routes and how to send a request. Using any of these rights changes nothing about your access to the site.

No certification is claimed

No privacy seal, certification, framework membership, or third-party audit is claimed here. This policy describes how the site is configured, and that is the whole of the claim.

Changes to this policy

The effective date at the top of this policy is the date of the current version. A material change moves that date and is described in the section it affects.
